Your love story.
We met through a mutual friend 10 years ago, he set us up on a “blind” date, although we had met briefly before at an event our friend had planned. We love to travel and try new foods or drinks together. We were engaged on Lake Louise in Banff National Park (in the middle when it was frozen over!).
We both love nature, travel, snow, and mountains so a winter wonderland destination wedding in a National Park by the mountains sounded perfect. We started looking into Glacier as an option since it had always been on my bucket list and Ryan loved it when his family visited as a kid
The song that played while I walked down the aisle was “all I ask of you” from Phantom of the Opera, which was the first musical we went to together back in 2013 when we first started dating. Since then we’ve been to many performances around Minneapolis, and a few in London & NYC
Why eloping in Glacier Park?
We wanted a more intimate ceremony and are also conscious of the costs of a big wedding.
Tips for other Glacier elopement brides?
Find people to be with you that can make you smile if you start to get stressed over the logistics of the day. Enjoy the moments you get with your new spouse.
Favorite part of your Glacier Park elopement.
My favorite time was after the ceremony with just Ryan and I for the pictures, and driving in the car, having just heard each others vows.
Favorite restaurant you ate in Montana.
Backslope Brewing.
