In the northwest corner of Montana sits a hidden gem of the earth. It is a park so naturally beautiful it is known as the “Crown Jewel of the Continent.” It is North America’s Swiss Alps and it jaw-dropping gorgeous, and in my opinion, there is no better place to be married. It is beautiful, romantic, and adventurous. I love taking photos anywhere but I never feel as inspired as I do when I’m in Glacier photographing weddings. Hopefully you fall in love with this little piece of heaven (it was actually used in the movie What Dreams May Come as heaven) as much as I have.

My best friend set me up on a blind date with Matt. Almost a year later we had our second date.. thanks to fantasy baseball! At the beginning of this year we talked about getting married and with our jobs we knew summer would be the best option. When Matt found out I’d never wanted a big wedding, we decided what there was no point in waiting until next summer if there wasn’t much planning to do… I’m not sure I could have waited that long anyway. There was no fancy or surprise engagement but to me it was perfect. Matt’s favorite movie is Lonesome Dove, so he has always wanted to go to Montana. Well what’s in Montana?? Glacier National Park! I think our trip was planned and booked in less than a week. Our wedding day was amazing and the most perfect day EVER!! I would not change a single thing about our decision to elope.
