When you’ve know someone for quite awhile, and they’re getting older and they’re still single, you begin to wonder who they’ll end up with…someone reserved or talkative, goofy or mellow, outdoorsy or intellectual…and you wonder if they’ll ever find that someone who is just the perfect fit for them, exactly what they’ve been looking for and waiting for.
Well, my good friend Jake (and long time bachelor…do you like how I keep bringing that up? ok, you’re really not that old!) recently got engaged, and after I saw the two of them interacting and seeing how perfect they were together, I thought, “Oh, THIS is what you were waiting for, Jake.”
She was worth the wait.
